Three Choirs festival: Charlotte, North Carolina

On the weekend of February 7–9, Christ Episcopal Church of Charlotte (NC) hosted the treble choirs of All Souls Episcopal Cathedral of Asheville (NC) and St. John’s Episcopal Cathedral of Knoxville (TN). This was the fifth time for the three choirs to collaborate on a festival. Choristers spent the weekend making music, rekindling friendships, and enjoying fellowship. Christ Church commissioned local composer Sarah Tullock to write an anthem for the festival, Arise and Shine, which is dedicated to the choir of All Souls Cathedral in support of their perseverance following Hurricane Helene. St. John’s Cathedral will host the gathering next year in Knoxville.
